Reet Our Babber!

Well, it's Gaia's second birthday today, or her fourteenth, or she's just plain two weeks old depending on your point of view.

We've had a wonderful first two weeks together, and to be honest we feel really lucky. Lucky that Gaia sleeps so well, lucky that she's eating ok, lucky that she's healthy and fine and most of all just a feeling of amazing luckiness that we can share our house with such a wonderful little source of happiness.

We've taken a million photos over the last week, below you'll find a selection of our favourites. One of the loveliest moment was going to the Christmas markets in Trento town centre, which was Gaia's first ever trip outside the house. It was a really exciting time for us as we'd been feeling a bit of cabin fever creeping in. Now we're free to wander all over the place with her :D

She was born on 9 November 2008 at 10.30 am.

She weighed 3.42 kg.

She was 48 cm long.

She makes my heart feel so full of love, happiness and pride that I can't believe it can contain it all.
